What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember choices and, in some cases, understand how pages are used.
How we use cookies
Desktop Canvascore uses essential cookies required for basic site functions (such as remembering your cookie preference) and, only if you accept, analytics cookies to understand aggregate traffic.
Rejecting non-essential cookies does not block access to briefing pages or the contact form.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
desktop-canvascore-cookie-consent | Stores Accept or Reject choice for the cookie banner | Up to 1 year (localStorage) | Desktop Canvascore |
cc_session | Maintains basic session integrity for form posting where applicable | Session | Desktop Canvascore |
_cc_analytics | Aggregate page-view counts when analytics are accepted | 6 months | Desktop Canvascore |
Note: Preference is stored in localStorage under desktop-canvascore-cookie-consent. If localStorage is unavailable, the banner may reappear.
Managing cookies
Use the Accept or Reject buttons on our cookie banner on first visit. You can clear site data in your browser settings to reset the choice. Browser controls can also block cookies entirely; essential site features may still work, but preference memory might not.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts may be requested from Google Fonts; that request can expose your IP to Google. We do not load third-party advertising cookies. See our Privacy Policy for broader data practices.
Impact of disabling
Disabling essential storage may cause the cookie banner to reappear. Disabling analytics only reduces our ability to see aggregate visit patterns; briefing content remains available.
