How a briefing runs
The Desktop Canvascore method — from question framing to walkthrough — for ride-hailing app analytics in Malaysia.
Engagement stages
01 — Frame the question
We start with the operational question, not the full data warehouse. Examples: Where do Friday cancellations concentrate? or Which corridors burn partner hours without completed trips?
02 — Agree the export window
Together we pick cities, vehicle classes, and a time window long enough to show pattern but short enough to act on. You receive a short data checklist before upload.
03 — Secure handoff
Exports move through an agreed secure channel. We confirm row counts and required fields, then freeze the analysis set so findings stay reproducible.
04 — Analyst pass
Analysts read trip legs, cancellations, and partner online hours against Malaysian corridor context — rain days, festival peaks, known choke points.
05 — Written briefing
You receive a PDF briefing with annotated charts, plain findings, and ranked operational moves. Language stays concrete: streets, hours, partner cohorts.
06 — Walkthrough call
We walk your ops attendees through the packet, answer challenges, and note follow-up clarifications. Two clarification rounds are included on the flagship review.
What we need from you
A nominated ops contact, reasonably clean exports, and honesty about promotions or outages that skewed the window.
